Alexis is originally from the Delta, but relocated to Madison, MS to pursue nursing school in 2014. Alexis graduated from The University of Mississippi with her BSN in 2016. Alexis is a part time med-surg nurse as well as a part time home hospice nurse. She has been married to her husband Jamie for 6 years, and they have a 3 year old son named Phoenix. During the COVID pandemic in 2020 Alexis began to pick up hobbies to stay busy. She taught herself how to paint fetal heartbeats and this is when the Beats side of Beats and Inks began. In 2024 she began making children’s learning books to help her son who was struggling with letters. She combined her two hobbies and Beats and Inks Designs and Paperie was born.
