During the COVID pandemic in 2020, I became super bored being confined to my house. So I decided that once every few days I would find a new hobby and master it. I began doing fetal heartbeat paintings for friends and quickly fell in love with it. Soon after I decided to market my paintings and so Beats Designs was born. Fast forward to 2023 I became somewhat of a Canva pro when I just could not find the perfect design for my sons 2nd birthday invitations. Then in August of 2024 my son’s 3K teacher expressed concern that he wasn’t catching on to tracing like the other kids were. So I took to the internet in search of activities that may help. Even the simplest of activity books were $70+. I decided I could make something way cuter, and way cheaper than that. So many of our friends fell in love with my son’s book and wanted one of their own. The more books I made, the more I wanted to make. In September of 2024 I added Inks to my resume. I combined my businesses into one, which became Beats and Inks Designs and Paperie. I love making one of a kind items for others and seeing the excitement on their faces.
